Throughout this workbook, Discerning the Chase, you will have many opportunities to examine the principles revealed in the gentle stories of Chasing Solomon, to dig deeper into their meaning and to apply them to your own unique life circumstances.

Format

Each chapter’s WORKNOTES are divided into three specific sections and can be used for either small group discussion or in a larger conference-type workshop with facilitators, or simply as a source of individual self-reflection.

The Heart of the Book presents the essence of each story by way of a quotation or paraphrased reference from the chapter.

Digging Deeper sets up an examination of  character’s actions via questions which invite personal interpretation and understanding.

Breaking Free provides an opportunity for each participant to personalize the principles to his/her unique life encounters through critical thinking.

WORKNOTES for chapters in the first part of the book (Beginnigs )concludes with a meditation and a prayer. In Transformations, the second part of the book, each chapters’ WORKNOTES conclude with a meditation verse and a personal commitment.

Discussions in small groups can begin with these thoughtful and thoughtprovoking questions, but it is our hope they will lead to much richer discussions and a deeper recognition of God’s infinite plan of abundance for each of us and a realization that the God who loves you will set you free to be your true self in Christ.

Leader’s Guide

As the discussion leader, you can begin with these prepared questions. However, your group discussions will no doubt take you in many other directions. By suggesting ‘answers’ to these intro and intraspective questions, we hope to provide a simple framework from which your group can grow to gain a greater understanding of God’s wisdom and the true meaning of abundance in our lives.

We welcome your feedback, which you can make through an email to the Chasing Solomon website (Contact Us) at www.chasingsolomon.com.
